Patterns should be purchased ahead of time, too.

Make Your Own Quilt Labels – all the how to’s along with ideas, patterns, and a chance to color in class!  Monday, Dec. 3rd – 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.  Bring your pigma pens/brushes, muslin (white or unbleached), and freezer paper. You can also purchase Heat N Bond Ultra Lite to stabilize your labels with here on site. (Bring a  light box if you have it, too.)  If you have books or patterns to share with us that night, even better!  $30. fee. five spots available; 2 already filled. All Wrapped UpWednesday, Dec. 5, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.  Prepare/collect (9) 5 inch squares of your favorite Christmas fabrics, 5/8 yard of white or cream background,1/2 yd for borders, 2/3 yds backing, 3/8 yd. for binding, a 4″x 28″ strip for a hanging sleeve, and 6″ strips for bows (9) and 9 squares 1 3/4″  to make bows. I will walk you through the construction of this 22 1/2″ square wall hanging which is in a 3 x 3 array of squares.  (It’s a good idea to prewash and press your fabrics before you begin to cut.)  $40. fee. I suggest you buy your pattern in advance when you pay for the class so you can read through it prior to class.  4 spaces available.

French Seam Pillowcases (burrito style)Monday, Dec.10, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.  You need 27″ (3/4 yd) for the body and 12″ (1/3 yd) for the cuff.  If desired, cut a contrasting strip 2″ x WOF for the accent strip.  $30, 4 spaces available.  Direction sheet will be provided.
