Attention: The Fabric Garden will be closed this Saturday and Sunday so we can vend at the Cocheco Quilters annual quilt show from 10 to 4 at the Rochester Community Center. Hope to see you there!
The Fabric Garden, formerly located on Rte. 125 on the Barrington/Lee town line, has reopened in our new location at 3 Stillwater Circle, Rochester, NH 03839, only 7 miles further north. Phone number: 603-948-2869.
We moved in mid March 2018 and have gotten pretty well settled in our new home. We are up and running with new hours and a more open, spacious shop. Great lighting, space for classes, and a quiet neighborhood. Who could ask for more?!
HOURS: Wed. – Sat. 10am – 4pm Additional hours by appointment. Handicap accessible.
To find us: (Google maps will bring you right to our door.) From our previous location, head north on Rte. 125, going through three sets of lights (Calef’s corner, Tolend Rd., and Flagg Rd.) Turn left onto Flagg Rd. at First City Auto/Evergreen RV. Go 1/2 mile and turn left into Stillwater Circle. Cross the bridge over the Isinglass River and take your first right just after the evergreen tree on the corner. We are the second house on the right. Parking is in the driveway or along the street in front. Ring the bell and enter the front door. The shop is to the left in the lower level of the house. There is a chairlift for your convenience if needed.
If heading south from Exit 12 off the Spaulding Turnpike, count the lights starting with the Exit 12 ramp. The fourth light, Flagg Rd., is a right turn off 125 after Evergreen RV. Go 1/2 mile and turn left onto Stillwater Circle; cross the bridge over the small river and take your first right immediately past the evergreen tree on the corner. We are the second house on the right. You’ll see the turquoise and white camper in the driveway.
We offer a treasure trove of beautiful fabrics and handmade quilts, table runners, potholders and pillowcases, wall hangings, and other sewing delights. You can find fine quality Aurifil thread, lots and lots of tools and notions, books and patterns, and many samples and ideas. We will be publishing classes soon, so stay posted.
For those of you who have shopped here the last 15 years, we thank you for making The Fabric Garden one of your favorite places to shop, and we look forward to seeing you soon. Please spread the word to others of our new location or bring them along with you for a visit real soon! We are still honoring punch cards when you pay with cash or check.
***** Thursday, July 25th we will be open from 2 to 5. (Call to see if we are open earlier. I have to transport someone to the airport and no one is available to cover the shop.)
