Come see us at the Merrimack Valley Quilters 2008 show at Timberlane
Regional Middle School, Plaistow, NH Friday and Saturday, May 2 & 3; 9 - 5
on Friday and 9 - 4 on Saturday.
Third Thursday - ongoing Block-of-the-Month class, 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Join
us in making the All Seasons Quilt, 12 blocks pieced and appliqued. Use
fusible applique, or do it by hand. $55. to join for the year; purchase your kit
each month. You can also choose to make a small wall hanging or runner
each month instead of the quilt. Each month the block will be shown, tips and
tricks will be shared, and you'll have a chance to relax with friends for an hour
or so. You can elect to participate by mail. Join any time - easy to catch up!

Aug. - Sunflowers
Tues., April 15, 6:30 - 9:00 pm. Landscape Mini with Katrina. Learn an
easy approach to landscapes and leave with at least one top ready to bind or
frame. This is an easy way to use up your scraps and play with design and
texture. $30. plus pattern. Kit available with advance notice.
Tues., April 22, 10 - 12 am or 6:30 - 8:30 pm, Sunflower and Sky wall
hanging, Katrina Rhodes, $30. This 32 1/2 X 15" still life is a delight to
make. Celebrate the coming of warmer months as you learn Beth Helfter's
stack & slice technique. Start gathering buttons to glue into your center!

Wed., April 30, May 7, & May 21, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, Fractured Bargello
Jacket, Karen Schutt, $60. Let Karen demystify the bargello technique as
you work your way through this class in steps with time in between for
piecing. This is a beautiful sweatshirt jacket you'll love!

Sweatshirt Jacket - Cora's a whiz at this. Come on over and learn how it's
done. You'll have a lovely piece of wearable art in no time and will be the
envy of your friends!
Watercolor Quilt - Choose the picket fence or flower basket for this
technique class with Katrina. Start collecting squares and scraps of florals -
tightly packed and medium packed...
*You must register and pay in advance for all classes. For some classes, kits
may be available. We would be happy to help you select fabrics for your
project. Supplies purchased here for class will be given a 10% discount.
Bring your machine (in good working order), your manual, cutting
mat/rotary/ruler, and basic sewing supplies to class.
